Non-Con: Non-Con (non-consensual) means the acts performed in the story (usually sexual, but you might also see warnings for things like ‘non-consensual drug use’) are explicitly unwanted and not agreed to by one or more characters.
Dub-Con” Dub-Con (dubious consent) is more of a grey area. It could mean that consent is neither explicitly given nor denied in the story leaving it up for interpretation by the reader. It could also mean that consent is given in the story but may not be valid due to reasons like one of the characters being underage, the use of drugs or alcohol by one or more characters involved, or an existing power dynamic between the characters involved.
